Introduction to Knitting in the Round - Knit a Hat, Tuesday 22nd October 1pm- 4pm

Know how to knit but intimidated by circular needles? Seen a pattern you love but it's knit in the round and you don't feel confident? Then this is the class for you! In this 3 hour workshop you will learn to knit your very own hat in the round. The price of the course includes the Toft Loch Hat Kit which has everything you need to complete this project including circular needles, luxury pure wool, an alpaca pompom, wool needle, stitch marker and printed pattern. This class will cover lots of techniques like reading a pattern, the long tail cast on, joining to knit in the round, magic loop for the crown decreases and hopefully some tips and tricks to avoid common problems. 

Tea, coffee and refreshments will be provided and you will also get a 10% discount on anything you buy in store on the day! 

Important: This class is not for absolute beginners. You must be able to knit, purl and have cast on before. If you cancel your booking a refund can only be given if your spot is taken by someone else so please give as much notice as possible by emailing or popping instore.
