52 Weeks of Scrap Yarn: Projects for Crafters
This is a book you need in your library!
I am so excited about the upcoming release of Laine’s new addition to their 52 Weeks collection, 52 Weeks of Scrap Yarn! This book is packed with ideas and patterns to use up even the smallest amount of leftovers that may be languishing in your knitting basket. Why didn’t this book exist sooner?! Order your copy on our website and join in the Ravelry group to share your stash, colour combos, yarn pairings and of course what you choose to make with them all! (There is a discount code for Ravelry group participants so head over to grab 5% off your copy of 52 Weeks of Scrap Yarn)
I’ll be jumping on with my own deep dive. This is a great chance to experiment with mixing different yarns and learning lots about fibre and gauge. I will certainly be keeping a copy of this for myself and will finally be making use of all the odds and ends in my (rather large) stash of leftovers!
52 Weeks of Scrap Yarn: Projects for Crafters is an inspiring collection that contains 52 scrap yarn patterns ranging from small to large projects, from accessories and home decor to sweaters and cardigans. Some designs are made entirely of scraps, while others use them in smaller details as an eye-catching design element. In addition to knitting, there are also a few crochet pieces!
Working with scrap yarns is fun, rewarding and ecological: it saves money and creates more space in your yarn stash! And each project is unique, which brings a touch of playfulness to the process.
52 Weeks of Scrap Yarn is the latest addition to Laine Publishing’s popular 52 Weeks series. The book’s patterns come from 47 talented designers worldwide, and the skill level required varies from easy to challenging.
The patterns are created by the following designers: Enikö Balogh, Jona Bednjanec, Audrey Borrego, Susan Chin, Camille Descôteaux, Jaime Dorfman (Jaime Creates), Emma Ducher, Anna Eklund, Lindsey Fowler, Nicola Furey, Soraya García, Hiromi Glover, Eliza Hinkes, Rastus Hsu, Anna Husemann, Candi Jensen, Esti Juango, Veera Jussila, Meiju Kallio, Maija Kangasluoma, Faye Kennington, Jenna Kostet, Pauliina Kuunsola, Sam Lamb, Sarianna Lehtonen, Lotta H.
