Baa Ram Ewe Nora Socks & Pouch

Super simple beginners sock pattern that can be knit flat! Ideal for new knitters.

These socks are made as a simple ribbed tube, ideal for a cosy sock to wear around the house or in bed. They’re knitted flat in one piece and sewn up along the toe and up one side.

Want a cute pouch to store your socks in? No problem. This pouch is also made flat but in stocking stitch. Small eyelets are made allowing the addition of a tie cord. Also knitted flat in one piece and sewn up along the edges.

You will need:

2 hanks of Woodnote Aran (shade Mouse)

4mm (US 6) straight needles

A darning needle

1 stitch marker

One size:

Socks: Circumference approx 13cm (5”), unstretched one size fits most feet from approx UK size 1 (US 3/EU 33) upwards

Pouch: Width 18cm (7”), Height 20cm (8”)
