Virtual Hat Knit Along – Join Us on Zoom! Friday 13th November & Friday 11th December, 8pm - 9pm

Fancy knitting or crocheting a new hat in good company? Join us for The Knit Lounge's virtual hat-a-long, where we'll be casting on together, sharing our progress and enjoying a little knitting time with fellow makers.

Whether you're knitting a cosy winter hat for yourself, making a gift for someone special or simply need an accountability group to finish your hat on time, this is a lovely opportunity to connect with other makers from the comfort of your own home.

We'll meet on Zoom to cast on, share pattern ideas, yarn choices and inspiration. Then share tips, advice and WIP photos all month over on our group Instagram chat. It's a relaxed make along just for fun so you can go at your own pace. There's no pressure to keep up or finish your hat by a certain date but this is a great way to stay motivated if you do want to be finished in time for Christmas day! We then meet for a final Zoom to share our (hopefully finished) hats and wish each other a merry Christmas!

What to expect:

• Two relaxed Zoom knitting sessions

• Plenty of knitting chat, encouragement and inspiration

• A chance to share your progress and see what everyone else is making

• A group chat to share tips and tricks on Instagram

Bring your yarn, needles and a cuppa (or maybe a mulled wine!) and settle in for some lovely knitting time together.

Please Note: This is not a traditional workshop or class. There will be no teaching or technique videos but we encourage sharing hints and tips in the group chat. This is a fun social event for hat enthusiasts.
