What is King Cole Baby Alpaca DK good for?
As a standard DK weight yarn, King Cole Baby Alpaca DK can be used for many knitting and crochet patterns calling for DK yarn. Alpaca naturally has more drape and less elasticity than wool, so it’s worth bearing this in mind when choosing patterns for larger or more structured garments. 100% alpaca yarns can stretch over time so it might not be the best choice if you are knitting something quite weighty.
