Knitting for Olive's Heavy Merino is deliciously warm, responsibly and ethically sourced.
Wrap yourself in luxury with Knitting for Olive's Heavy Merino. This ultra-soft, premium wool is spun from the finest merino fibers, creating a fabric that's warm, breathable, and perfect for layering. Available in a palette of timeless shades, this worsted weight yarn will make texture and cables pop and is perfect for garments like sweaters and cardigans. It's also soft and perfect for those with more sensitive skin. However, while Merino wool is one of the softest types of wool, Knitting For Olive's Heavy Merino is a bit more rustic and less soft than their thin Merino. The reason being is the wool is taken further from the sheep’s skin. I still think this is a wonderful option for most people.
Knitting For Olive's Heavy Merino is made of 100 % traceable, non-mulesed Merino wool. Our Heavy Merino is super strong, long-lasting and wears really well. It’s great for sweaters and can be combined with our Soft Silk Mohair for extra softness and fluffiness. Our Heavy Merino is spun in a way to minimize pilling.
