Knitting with Mohair and Multiple Strands - Tuesday 13th May 10.30am - 12.30pm

Love the look of mohair? Interested in adding some fluff to your knitting? Have you seen a beautiful pattern that says 'holding 2 strands together' and you are not feeling confident? Join our Knitting with Mohair and Multiple Strands class. We will take a deep dive into using this wonderful fluffy fibre and experiment holding alone, with other yarns and two or more strands of mohair together. You will learn how adding fluff affects the fabric characteristics, the gauge and the effect you can add to the colour and shade of the fabric. We will also cover avoiding and fixing mistakes when holding multiple strands.

Mohair and wool will be provided but you will need to bring 4mm needles with you.  

Tea, coffee and refreshments will be provided and you will also get a 10% discount on anything you buy in store on the day! 

Important: This class is not for absolute beginners. You must be able to knit, purl and have cast on before. If you cancel your booking a refund can only be given if your spot is taken by someone else so please give as much notice as possible by emailing or popping instore.
