Say hello to Atlas, a new yarn from Sandnes Garn spun from 70% Norwegian lambswool and 30% merino wool. The result is a warm, soft and lightweight yarn with both strength and character. Sandnes Garn Atlas is a DK to worsted weight yarn and can be knit to a variety of gauges. The wool has the amazing structure, warmth and bounce of Norwegian lambswool and the added softness of merino giving you the best of both worlds.
Knitted garments made using Atlas by Sandnes Garn should be washed sparingly by hand or on a cool woolwash programme using specially-formulated products like those from Yarn Food, as most often they just need to be aired.
