Ruke Classic Cardigan

The Ruke Classic cardigan is an oversize below the hip-length style knit that has a beautiful front band and is worked top down. The front band is worked in a double knit so it doesn’t have seams in the back neck. Sleeves are narrowing towards the cuff. Cuffs and the Hem are worked in a Rib stitch pattern. Ruke Classic cardigan fits well with leggings, shorts, dresses or jeans. It is a perfect cardigan to wear in Spring, Summer or Autumn when the weather is chiller.

1. Ruke knit, Wool (100% Wool; 100g = 350m, 3 (4) 4 (4) 5 (5) 6 (7) balls                            
2. Filcolana Tilia (70% kid mohair, 30% silk; 25g = 210m, 5 (7) 7 (7) 9 (9) 10 (12) balls

Alternative Yarns:
A good substitute might be Hjertegarn Hjerte Fine or Lang Yarns Merino150 and Rowan Kid Silk Haze held together.

Needles:
4mm (US6, UK8) 40-60-80cm (16-24-31in) circular needles; 4mm (US6, UK8) 20cm (7.75in) 5 pcs. double point needles.

Gauge:
10cm x 10cm (4in x 4in) = 18 stitches x 26 rows in Stockinette stitch pattern after washing.
